When I first decided to major in textile design, I wasn't quite sure it would be for me, but knew I was good at sewing and knitting and somehow wanted to work with fabric. I think I assumed I'd be a knitter. Sandra was my first weave design teacher and I knew after her class I would be a weaver. I remember loving that on the first day of class she gave us a 3 page handout of book recommendations. I still have it! She also gave us a bookbinding workshop, which I loved.
