My husband and I have moved many times too. We lived in NY for 10 years, I miss it. Santa Fe is on my list but I don't think I could live there, giant spiders! Hope you will post where you land. I think of moving back to upstate NY or VT. Your experience is more ...I love this piece Bhakti. Your experience is more universal than you may know. There are many people blessed/cursed with the moving bug (myself included), not quite ever settling down. Is there a correlation between settling into a place (here "settling" has a positive sense--but, in America, anyway, "settling" often has a negative meaning) versus simply settling into the act of moving. It's the moving and multiple places that's familiar, rather than one (and only) specific place. There are pros and cons to both lifestyles. One of the main cons? You don't get to reap the harvest of that very small sour cherry tree you planted.Hollyhttp://www.dowdycornerscookbookclub.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4684257613477579090.post-76493747251010944342012-10-29T19:34:37.695-04:002012-10-29T19:34:37.695-04:00Hi Bhakti...

Every year, I devote the entire month before Thanksgiving to chocolate-making, culminating in a four-day extravaganza the week before Thanksgiving where I make, pack, and ship ~90 pounds of chocolates in about 30-40 flavors. So it's chocolate season on my blog! http://www.tienchiu.com/category/blog-posts/

You can also read more about my chocolate antics on my Chocolates page, http://www.tienchiu.com/other-crafts/chocolate/ .

Finally, I'm really really curious what you think of the "Chocolates and Confections At Home with the Culinary Institute of America" book I see in your book pile. I have the professional version (titled only "Chocolates and Confections") and think it's one of the three best available books on chocolate/candymaking for the professional/hardcore amateur. I'm wondering if the author has worked similar magic for the "at home" version.Tien Chiuhttp://www.tienchiu.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4684257613477579090.post-87716660790515646992012-10-10T10:48:25.758-04:002012-10-10T10:48:25.758-04:00Hi Bhakti,
